Kangana Ranaut signed for new movie

Abhishek Chaubey’s film Ishqiya starring Naseeruddin Shah, Vidya Balan and Arshad Warsi was a hit at the box office and received rave reviews from the critics. A sequel to the film has been planned and the script is ready.
For reasons unknown, Vidya Balan refused to be part of the Ishqiya sequel titled Dedh Ishqiya. She is said to be having date problems because of her forthcoming film Dirty Picture based on Silk Smitha’s life.
There was news that Rani Mukherjee might star in the sequel. There was also a buzz that Madhuri Dixit may be considered. However, director Abhishek Chaubey confirmed Kangana Ranaut and she has signed on the dotted line.

Kollywood no 1 Ileana?

Ileana is ruling the roost in Tamil film industry. Going by the word around, she is the top heroine in Kollywood remuneration-wise charging about 1.2 crore. Ileana is the heroine at the moment as Nayantara has stopped accepting films due to her scheduled marriage with her beau Prabhu Deva.
Srirama Rajyam in Telugu is her last film and Trisha focusing Telugu films after her recent Bollywood film with Akshay Kumar. Though Anushka and Tamanna are also making their presence felt, the former is charging about Rs 1 crore while the latter became choosy. No wonder, though little expensive, Ileana has become darling of filmmakers.
