Aishwarya Rai chooses November 16 to deliver baby girl

The speculation over the date of birth of Aishwarya Rai's baby girl was finally over when Abhishek Bachchan tweeted, "It's a Baby Girl."Speculation over the exact date of birth was rife soon after it was known that she would deliver in November.First it was predicted that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would deliver on her birthday -- November 1. But that did not happen. Later bookies were betting on another date: The lucky 11.11.11. According to one news report, Rs 150 crore were riding on that bet. But Ash (and Mother Nature) did not oblige When Aishwarya Rai was spotted on Monday night at Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai , with father in law Amitabh Bachchan and husband Abhishek Bachchan it was now predicted that the baby would show on November 14 or November 15. But she left the hospital the same day after a regular check up. She arrived the next day again with her family in tow and got admitted. Though television journalists opted for restraint and did not cover the event a few press photographers clicked her entering the hospital. So was November 15 going to be the Big (B) Day? Nope. Ash skipped November 15 and the wee little girl arrived early morning November 16.
